Recall nearly launched as a scraper that stored all its data in plaintext.
Yeah, I still don’t want my computer screen recording everything I do. Nor do I want the computer of everyone I give my personal details to (think DMV, ISPs, utility companies, etc) to also screen record all the information I give them. This is a massive security nightmare.
Yeah maybe in ten years the dept of justice will go “hey wait a sec, we have to deal with this”
I’m in govt IT and looking to prevent this feature.

Unfortunately it’s our heads they’re banging up against a wall with these stupid decisions nobody asked for.
