I am rooting for its failure after seeing the level of quality in their final product. It is overly ambitious but they didn’t have the talent to actually write well or make any of the new content an improvement over the original.

I’m disappointed in some of the time ghost decisions, but I can still praise the overall product as being a fantastic collection of work by some great artists, even if I don’t decide to play it.

They already failed. FF7R is like Fast is at the Furious 9 part of its lifespan. Just overindulgent slop.
