5·2 months agoI heard a similar story from a friend of mine, that the c-levels at his office only wanted to achieve faster development rather than proper development. And he was worried because the system built by the devs team had become bigger and complex, and he didn’t know how to track down bugs in the source code.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is the 'stuck' economy a global phenomenon? Americans share frustrations about not being able to get ahead despite education - is this a universal experience?English
14·1 year agoIt also happens in Asia, I can say that some of them are similar to what you said. In my country, many young people have a hard time finding a job even if they are university graduates. Necessities is getting more expensive.
There are also many people and households who are trapped in huge debts from online loans.
Many small businesses stuck or fail, only the business of the oligarchs can survive. and their business destroys small businesses and harms the people.
Yep, my govt only cares about porn, manga, hentai, online gambling sites, reddit and duckduckgo.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If "AI" doesn't attract customers why are companies hyping it so hard? Are they just dumb or is there another factor?English
31·2 years agoThey want to create some hype and look cool by using AI chatbots. And most normies don’t care about privacy and the dangers of AI in the future, they only care about “wow I can use AI for bla… bla…”
But they have no idea, that one day AI could take over their jobs… and rich people like Sam Altman are getting richer, and he only pays you with
UBI moneysome pieces of computinghttps://x.com/tsarnick/status/1789107043825262706
Also, AI companies aim for government contracts and medium / big corpos.

This is just some of BS public stunts, they are trying to hide and create misinformation to deceive people. The mastermind of the online gambling issue here, is one of their cronies. A businessman, this guy being protected by top military brass and former general including a new elected president.
