It’s been reported that in the German elections, a far right party has made ‘significant gains’.
In the UK (at least before the scandals) Reform UK seems to have had a significant boost and has even surpassed the right-wing Conservative Party in some polls/predictions.
Even France, one or two years ago, was threatened with a far-right government due to the French far right party gaining a lot of support.
It feels like in the last few years, the far-right has exceeded itself and had a surge in popularity. Is this the case? And if so, wtf is fuelling it?
Who is we here? Not you and I. Different cultural backgrounds. Different states if I had to imagine. Different values. Different education systems, different languages even.
I am an American, so I share the collective blame. We do.

It’s not just the fascist language laws, but TCC thugs will ask forced conscripts to pronounce certain words to determine where they’re sent when pressganged, aka “busification”.
I offered no support of any faction other than the Ukrainian people as a whole, and the sovereignty within its own borders.
Where is your outcry against the facist paramilitary in the US that is abducting both citizen and non-citzens within its own borders? Do you believe that South American countries have an obligation to organize and invade to protect those people? Does Israel have an obligation to invade and rescue jewish people from any nation accused of harbouring antisemitism?
The Ukrainian people are not whole. That’s the whole point. This started with a coup, which led to a civil war, which led to a proxy war, which led to an intervention, which will now lead to nuclear war. All because you thought people voted “wrong”.

Edit: An aside, I do enjoy these chats. Sort of hope you don’t just ghost me, and that this post doesn’t get nuked. 4 days is damn impressive. An unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. One of us claims one man and his seat of government for the past quarter century is the whole problem, and the other claims it’s half of the entire world. Where could it possibly end?
