Can we just learn to communicate and realize that both are valid and I would join this group of noodly soup lovers?

took me a long time to realise what Americans meant by ramen. Especially when they considered it low budget food. Instant noodles are not really ramen

Do you call frozen pizza? Or is it instant pepperoni pie? Why do you have to gate keep word?

I assume it’s a regional thing. “Instant ramen” are noodles or 2 minute noodles here. It’s rarely labelled as ramen and never called it.

From childhood I knew about ramen from anime and I knew about instant ramen from American media but I didn’t learn until later that they aren’t the same thing and instant reman is just 2 minute noodles.

Isn’t this meme the wrong way round?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character is the philistine who would be on the instant noodle pot

Unless OP is saying instant noodle pots are the superior form, which I can’t agree with, but I guess someone out there is gonna

I did an experiment once where i used the format “correctly” the way you and i understand it, and so many lemmings were confused. People on here tend to assume the woman is wrong.

Depends on my mood. 95% of the time the ramen on the left is superior, but once in a while you get a hunger which only instant ramen can satisfy.

You’re right, but at first I thought the OP was trying to pull a fast one on us and the right was a picture of that super expensive restaurant ramen that serves in a shitty ramen cup.

Miso soup also isn’t hard or very time consuming to make. Some of the ingredients can be uncommon depending on where you live, but nothing a local Asian market and/or some online shopping can’t take care of.
