There is plenty to engage with here. I don’t miss Reddit, other than a couple of local groups that have no fedi equivalents, yet. But not enough to go back.
no equivalent, thats the only reason. althought im shadowbanned i can only read-only anyways, i suspect that is reddit/spez current intended purpose for users. keep just enough engagement, via propaganda bots and users to keep up a front while exposing everyone else to advertisements. i always criticized how they do very little against controversial bots, and we know why.
