Feel free to spread my poetry far and wide.

It is amazing,

We are from supernova,

Actual stardust!

As Sagan, Watts and Tolle say: We are all waves of one ocean, the cosmos observing itself, we are energy and light that has existed from the start. We can choose to awaken and shatter the ego identity, in our short existence as conscious stardust!

  • The llms keep getting worse where they first answer with both-sides have merit and give pros and cons, but try to avoid ranking by score, how well each issue helps the majority live healthier lives, quality of life and such. It doesn’t want to show how much higher the Democratic platform scores on a comparison of top voter issues. It should impartially do the math, show areas for improvement, see how people in other countries do better with x, y and z issues, and polls show they would never give up the nice things, we all should have too.

  • If convictions are backed up by best knowledge we have and stand up to scrutiny then they are good until new information is discovered that updates the old. Don’t fall for the ego control, be aware it wants to be right and fights new information, but shouldn’t, learning new things is fun! Follow Sagan’s baloney detection kit, and scientific method, and one part is don’t get attached to a theory. To combine Sagan and Watts, we’re all waves of one ocean, made of stardust, the cosmos observing itself, that’s the truth that sets us free, test it :)

Edit: Convictions are part of Perry’s scheme of cognition, and to get there it requires the skepticism to understand what is peer-reviewed and data backed and what is not.

  • More info: The term did not originally refer to a unified continent but was gradually expanded by Greek geographers and historians like Herodotus to distinguish the western lands from Asia and Libya (Africa). It was not until the Middle Ages and the Carolingian Renaissance that “Europe” solidified as a distinct cultural and political identity linked to Christianity and the former Western Roman Empire, evolving from a vague regional descriptor into the modern continental concept.

  • People have a good nature and cooperation is in our DNA, but it gets ruined by the high-control systems most get indoctrinated into, also often abuse, neglect and trauma, it’s all damaging and wrong. Raises angry, low-level thinking, just obey, do out of fear, not understanding and knowledge why to do/not do, conditional acceptance, etc. They don’t learn how to raise healthy humans, just do what was done to them, which continues the dysfunctional cycle, enmeshment, etc. and untreated mental health issues, they call what’s unhealthy, good and right, and never learn how to do better, it’s sad.

  • Nothing wrong with using llms in useful ways, as long as they keep giving factual and unbiased information. Or you can look up stuff online and verify in a book at the library, although that could be outdated too, hmm. Unfortunately I noticed they do more of the “both sides have good points” (Perry’s scheme level 3 of 9), even when it’s a lopsided topic. We need impartial ratings somehow to show how biased the various models become and people will stay in the ones they like, or not use them or other ways to learn.

Locked into the low-level, high-control systems, they won’t learn how unhealthy they are and how to do better with freedom and equality, like it’s always been, just updated with the tech. Ask llms to use Sagan’s baloney detection kit and Perry’s highest thinking levels to analyze problems, with the main goal of how to help humanity, the environment, etc. that benefits the majority and minimizes damage. Try to make the llm work in favor of humanity rather than the owners’ greed.

Develop ego awareness, notice when it reacts with upset to new information, and choose to learn anyway. As you recognize the unhealthy indoctrination you absorbed, use that anger to break free from high-control systems, guided by the truth that sets you free. Then learn to manage the cognitive dissonance and the inner resistance that clings to the old beliefs once you’ve woken up to the truth. Good luck!

  • Probably people who are curious and want to learn how the universe really is, who climb to the highest levels of Perry’s scheme of cognition, who use Sagan’s baloney detection kit, rather than supernatural and unfalsifiable excuses, to understand the cosmos. It’s part of the scientific method and great to learn new things, not mistakes but data for next experiment, and big claims require big proof, like defending a thesis should require. We are all waves of one ocean made of stardust, observing the universe, conscious elements billions of years old. DNA that survived all the extinctions so far, on the one habitable planet, and nothing to rescue us, but human cooperation.

If you want faith, it must allow room for doubt and mystery, rather than twisted to demand certainty and remain in Perry’s low levels overall. They could study the neurochemical ways high-control groups hook people and keep them with unhealthy shame/blame/guilt, threat of exile, conditional belonging, solution for invented problem, punish/reward cycles, and maybe choose to escape. Good luck!
