One word: Stellantis. Dodge and Jeep must be in a close race to being their most unreliable brand.
I actually kinda like the looks of this generation of Jetta, but catching on fire and exploding has to be up there for worst car experiences lol
Gamestar, the largest German gaming site, recently stated that they are very optimistic about the game and that the preview they got to play behind closed doors was excellent. Maybe it looks a bit outdated, but that was also the case for the previous titles when they came out.
The game will have a Ukrainian language option afaik. There won’t be a Russian dub though.
It takes a bit to get used to. The first thing I do on a new playthrough is go to train with Bernard right away until my sword skill is high enough. You can forget using the sword before that, it’s a night-and-day difference. Once you get to the point where you’re running around with a set of full armor, you’re basically human tank. I actually killed the first boss in one hit once lol.
I enjoyed the combat system overall but it got very tedious and unfair if you got attacked by more than two people at the same time. I suppose it’s realistic, but it wasn’t really fun when you had to “lock on” to multiple enemies.
Regulations on fossil fuels have become very strict in Europe and any manufacturer wanting to sell there is going to maximize aerodynamics. Not to mention the increased range for electric cars. Most people still view cars as utilities, they care more about how far it can go on one charge instead of cool angular designs.
I’ve tried a number of fitgirl ones and had only around a 50% success rate with them.
Modern cars are designed in wind tunnels. We’ll never get the cool designs back.
A lot of repack installers won’t work in Linux, not even with proton. Use the original scene release instead if you can.
The problem is not that the deer was hit, a human driver may have done so as well. The actual issue is that the car didn’t do anything to avoid hitting it. It didn’t even register that the deer was there and, what’s even worse, that there was an accident. It just continued on as if nothing happened.
The poster, who pays Tesla CEO Elon Musk for a subscription to the increasingly far-right social media site, claimed that the FSD software “works awesome” and that a deer in the road is an “edge case.” One might argue that edge cases are actually very important parts of any claimed autonomy suite, given how drivers check out when they feel the car is doing the work, but this owner remains “insanely grateful” to Tesla regardless.
How are these people always such pathetic suckers.
They’re not all permanent, Lemmy displays the duration in the mod log. I agree that there should be some kind of notification though.
You didn’t miss it, it’s a 1991 W124.
Haha no worries - the spring looks like this when it’s installed:
There is a lot of stress on the upper part because the entire weight of the car is resting on the springs. So over the years, cracks can form in the welds that attach the mount to the frame and moisture gets in and rust starts to form without being immediately visible. I just removed the underbody coating to treat the rust spots I could see, but it seems I was too late - it’s already rusted through.
Source?
Thank you, though I think I’ll leave this one to the professionals. My guess is that a crack formed along the side of the mount and the previous owner just welded a piece on top. You can kind of see the spots in a few places. There was zero thought put into conserving the metal below, so it just kept rusting from the inside.
it looked fine but couldn’t keep the wheels straight
Damn, that’s pretty advanced rust. What happened to the Mazda?
I think I got lucky, it seems that there’s enough material left to patch up the frame and weld a new spring mount on. The car is pretty solid otherwise but discovering this was not exactly a good feeling after driving it at 180 km/h on the Autobahn just the week before.
Nope, Lemmy is just the software after all. It would be up to the individual instances to set up some kind of TOS or age verification.
