The addictive design of platforms, software and algorithms should be adressed, not the users age.
And the tech companies should be made responsible to design more healthy platforms, etc.
The problem is the design of tech, not the people using it.
Would not mind. Trump will not leave power because of peaceful protests. But other forces within the government will have it easier to apply instruments in order to make him leave with large peaceful protests.
I think large peaceful demonstrations are needed. The people need to go on the streets in vast numbers and make their opposition to trump visible for everyone. Just in a peacefully but strong way, not possible to neglect.

This how social media should work. I want Interoperability between whatsapp, signal threema and so on. Also between garmin, withings, Apple and so on…
I guess the difference between addictive tech like social media and stuff like alcohol is the scale.
Alcohol is more a problem of an individual and its nearest people.
Big tech is a threat to democracy and the cohesion of society.
