I don’t get that amount of frustration. The zoo game from frontier that I bought years ago still get updated with new free content here and there. Sure there are DLC but you can perfectly play the initial game without any of them, or get them on a sale. Isn’t it ?
DayZ is the game which definitely prevented me to buy any early access game anymore
There is the summary of the review notes and the evolution over time. Then there is the text comments associated to the notes which is sorted by helpfulness. To me this is a good system and by browsing 2-3 pages of reviews I think I get an accurate idea. I think I never got misleaded by a game with overwhelming positive reviews rating. Of course there are still players with 1000 hours in the games giving 0 stars review with comment « this game bad » but there are also plenty of useful reviews.
When I see a game on sales on the Epic store, I first go to the steam reviews before deciding. I don’t think I’m the only one doing that.
These days nothing good comes from gaming platforms that have user reviews.
I disagree, users review on Steam is really helping me before buying a game.
If everyone was following your path, micro transactions wouldn’t be there anymore.
I had the same confusion reading that recommendation. Seems to check all the red flags based on that sentence.
That’s the kind of guy who rushes into the final boss unprepared, isn’t it ?
Don’t be sorry for asking, he should be sorry for using acronyms.
AI saying AI is bad.
Isn’t Musk all for free speech ?
I bought only one game on Epic, all the others were free games. Most of them I have never opened. I’m now more patient and generally wait for games to be available on GOG.
But they don’t care, do they ? It’s better for them if you stop playing the old game and buy the 1234th remake of Mario at full price on Switch
I also got it for free on Epic but as the game is good I bought it on GOG during some sales last year.
Why does every client needs to compile them ? Couldn’t they compile the shaders maybe once per graphic card model and push those already compiled assets into the GPU ?
Released … Still in early access, isn’t it ?
Correct, thanks for clarifying.
I use brave or Firefox + uBlock. Never see any ad.
For info when you progress in the game there is better automation, for instance with devices watering your field automatically everyday. But I agree there are still a lot of manual repetitive actions.
