Yeah. It’s unacceptable. Still, I dare to say (and I hate to say it), Yandex has the best search engine index by far.

I’m pretty sure I used this and was surprised it has options for DDG and other search engines too: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/ublacklist/

I use Caddy for all kind of things and it has a very simple file browser built in that can be activated super easily: https://caddyserver.com/docs/quick-starts/static-files
Looks like shown here: https://peterpf.dev/posts/caddy-simple-fileserver/

Its so interesting how different people perceive these things. Disco Elysium was so stress free for me, I didn’t really think the day counter did anything. With Outer Wilds I think its really the anticipation of what I know is inevitable to come. And then I nervously wait for all those cues that tell me how much time has passed already… And yeah, very stressy for me, haha. Still, I should really push myself to finish it sometime because I’m really curious how it all ties up.

I couldn’t bring myself to finishing it because “the timer” stressed me so much :( I loved everything else about it so much.

Its very easy to deploy fail2ban for Jellyfin: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-install/networking/advanced/fail2ban/
You really want to destroy that poor guy, do you?

The privacy policy changed not explicitly for the game. It is possible the data collection behaviour has always been like that and they only now have rewritten it to comply with current laws. The way its written is common to comply with EU law (what in detail may be collected and for what purpose).
Nothing changed for anyone that bought the game and only plays the game exclusively (eg. on Steam).

That’s exactly how it works with any other privacy policy you will find (except when the service is spun out in a subsidiary like Meta > WhatsApp LLC where WhatsApp has its own privacy policy). Look at Ubisoft’s privacy policy: https://www.ubisoft.com/legal/documents/privacypolicy/en-INTL Ist’s the same. Or worse maybe? They are more clear in their language on why and where the data gets collected. That’s where Take-Two could have done a better Job.
Or EA: https://www.ea.com/legal/privacy-and-cookie-policy?setLocale=en-US
Same shit. Not saying that I like it, but this is not new at all. Take-Two is not a suddenly a spy company that installs spyware. Privacy policies have been like this for years but it seems some people currently woke up to reading or caring about privacy policies for the first time in their life.

I just read the german version and compared them a little. (https://www.take2games.com/privacy/de/) Its about the same. But ist also reads fairly normal like any other privacy policy. I also think its in line with EU law. The collected data always relates to whatever TakeTwo service you use and whatever data you provide voluntarily or technically by using it. Thats fine by EU law.

Disable automatic updates in the play store. I have them dissbled for all my apps to have better control over what is pushed upon me. I noticed that also stops the Duo icon to change when I was slacking off.
Gute Nacht, Diggi <3
… I think he meant a different kind of major picture. But still, your math checks out.

That looks awesome and makes me hungry.

Interesting. Are you on Wayland? It supposedly is to offload GPU tasks from the CPU to the GPU.
“Some GPUs include a GPU System Processor (GSP) which can be used to offload GPU initialization and management tasks.” https://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/510.39.01/README/gsp.html

Usually, animals in dreams are a placeholder for the unknown and unpredictable, something that is perceived as dangerous. The distorted violin that I would interpret as a sad instrument hints a little towards sadness that you hide from, but I’m not that the sound is just scary to you, just like being chased by the monster. So it seems you are avoiding the confrontation with something that scares you in your real life, or something that only scares you subconsciously that you buried. When you meet or see other people in your dreams, like the four women, they basically represent parts of yourself (because, well, you are the one dreaming after all). The women gave away your hiding space and are a threat to you. I can’t really tell much from your further description, I feel like there is more context in the interaction you maybe had with the three women. But maybe they are also just a means to keep the dream in the “being chased and in danger” loop. It’s common to not be able to fully hide and stay in safety in a dream like this, since that would mean the conflict was solved and therefore the dream would cease to be. You probably wouldn’t even have remembered it.
From my experience the front would be towards the wall since the handle (the big pipe going around it, like here is on the back.

The moment when you seem them and suddenly everything turns black & white. Oh no.
It’s a cool tech demo.
