You know most of the world isn’t USA, right? I’m sick of American politics, and while it is important to talk and mobilise against conservatives, I also don’t want it to be >50% of what I see here. Not wanting to see American politics doesn’t mean you’re privileged, it might mean you’re just not American.

(And also, people who are American and will be disadvantaged by conservative politics still might want to relax and enjoy their free time without having to think about all the bullshit that’s happening to them. No-one should be fighting for their rights 100% of the time, we all deserve some time to relax and have fun as well, otherwise what are we even fighting for?)

I used to be more like you described, and I’d get annoyed and frustrated with myself when I started losing interest, or I’d get anxious wondering what I would do next. I also really like Dropout. I will sub for a few months then put it on pause for a few months, so it’s basically half price. The company allegedly treats its staff very well, they produce lots of good shows, very inclusive for queer, disabled, non-white etc people which I love. They also recommend password sharing and stopping your subscription if you can’t afford / don’t want any more. And all that obviously worked since I’m advertising for free for them 😂

“special cases” being everyone who doesn’t live in a town? I’m lucky in that my village post office hasn’t been shut down, but I’d still have to drive to collect my post every day. It’s much more efficient that a single vehicle delivers post to hundreds of houses.

Maybe it makes sense in urban areas for able-bodied people. Still a drag to have to walk there every day when you don’t even know if you’ve got post because something important might have arrived.

My car sounds similar to your CRX. It uses either two cylinders, four cylinders or four cylinders and turbo depending on how hard I push the accelerator pedal. It’s very cool :)
