I like the sentiment, could have done without the last paragraph.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Bitwarden's new CEO has a Private Equity background, removed 'Inclusion' and 'Always Free' from their website -- because of course he didEnglish
35·2 months agoIt can, but vaultwarden, as it currently is, is an implementation of the server only. So if bitwarden decides to go closed source all the way, they’d haver to start either creating their own clients or fork the current bitwarden clients.
Not just its punch, it’s lost its meaning.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK about precordial catch syndrome: a recurring sharp, stabbing chest pain that worsens when you take a breath and only lasts a minute
1·3 months agoWould that make it more likely for me to be left handed? Because I’m very much right handed.

2·3 months agoDescription is pretty spot on, but it’s on the opposite side for me. Are my innards flipped?
I find that hard to believe. Prolly the entire world trying to look at the photos.
Where can I find a high res version of this?

Nah, it’s been pretty clear for some time now that the next Xbox would just be a PC. I don’t think they got this idea from Valve. I’m sure that Valve helped shape their plans, though.
I actually think it’s a great idea. The problem is that Microslop is behind it.

I’m not super familiar with Bazzite, but I think it’s one of those that boots straight into steam, right? Try logging in and setting the game up in desktop mode.
If that doesn’t work, you’re better off searching in Bazzite/MCPELauncher dedicated forums.
but the least they could do is use the right letter for the right sound. It’s driving me insane.
Oh boy, wait till you find none of the letter they’re using are for the right sound 🫣
I have never used realms.
The launcher itself requires you to login with your Google account, where you own the game in the Play Store. Once the game is open, then you can login with your Microsoft account. I never had any problems logging in.
That’s the one.
You’ll need to own Minecraft on the Play Store to be able to play on Linux, so that’s one thing to keep in mind, also you’ll need a Microsoft account to play online. There’s not much else, the bedrock launcher is pretty good, and mostly keeps up with breaking changes to the android version.
As for why there are multiple Minecraft versions, blame Microsoft. When they bought Mojang they wanted a Minecraft version that worked on consoles and had better performance on lowered powered devices like phones, so they wrote a clone of the game in C++. And props to them, they got what they wanted, but the game isn’t the same as the older Java game, so the core PC community never adopted Bedrock.
Edit: to be clear, the C++ codebase existed before the Microsoft purchase, but Microsoft was the one that pushed the unified Bedrock edition brand and expansion, and never bothered with Java compatibility.

I would like to order one new left knee cartilage please!
