“My personality can’t compete with computer make-believe!”
This. Why would all dinosaurs taste the same? All birds don’t taste the same, and they pretty much are dinosaurs.
Also, I bet that those ancient dinosaurs tasted a lot more wild and gamey than some farm-bred chicken.
Dammit. Just bought a brand new M4 pro.
A third of Americans are delusional
OK… But have you tried it?
I look up everything interesting that occurs to me on Wikipedia so I know a lot of shit about random topics.
This is a very valuable habit.
I learned this when I was a kid, and the only problem is that nowadays, I haven’t seen a pencil nor its eraser and probably 15 years.
Still, a pretty great tip!
Gorgeous! Make sure to post all your good photos!
Even if you weren’t running a dictatorship, whatever it is you were running would be a terrible thing with a job that you would hate. And everyone would hate you, too. Especially if you did a good job and fixed things.
See, this is the reason why I want nothing to do with the job
I mean… I can appreciate the position, but I’d rather be fucking dead than be the president. That is a shitty, thankless job, and I want nothing to do with it.
This country needs a major overhaul, and I don’t want to be the public face of it that all of the crazies want to kill.
OH, THE TERROR!!!
Voted for Trump
Lmao
No. I’ve never even heard of that game design studio, and I’m pretty sure that if I haven’t heard of a game design studio, they’re not “big enough to be too corporate”.
I was simply commenting on a general practice during game development. A practice which revolves around a profit motive, not around the size of whatever corporation may be developing the game. I have, in my own past, as an independent game developer, encountered such difficult development, decision decisions, as how much of which budget to cut.
So, I’m not simply speaking out of general bullshit. I’m actually speaking from experience.
Do you have any other questions?
As game development budgets get cut, the first ones to go are the designers. It’s much easier to sell a game which doesn’t look great but still works than a game than looks great, but doesn’t work right. And the corporate assholes who are in charge of these game design budgets care only about one thing: sales. They couldn’t give a flying fuck if you enjoy the game, just that you bought it.
because every website got bought out by a major corporation which publicly executes its employees, every hour, on the hour, if their profit line stops going up
When I grew up, one of my mother’s favorite pieces of art was this image. She had an official print of it. It was beautiful.
This is exactly what is so awesome and beautiful about independent software development.
Oh, I see. Yeah, I misunderstood. Thanks for clearing that up.
