Shortwave radio. I’ve played around with them in the past as well as recently. I live in the US on the gulf coast and picked up stations from Havana to China. The radios are relatively cheap and broadcasting has a far reach for much less power than a traditional FM radio station.

Fan out the deck and tell someone to pull the 2 of clubs randomly out of the deck and hand it to you face down without looking at it. You look at whatever card they just pulled let’s say its the ace of spades. Tell them to pull the ace of spades randomly from the deck same as before not looking at it and handing It to you face down. You look at it let’s say its the king of diamonds. You tell them that you are going to pull the king of diamonds from the deck randomly but you covertly pull the card from the bottom of the deck. Now shuffle the 3 cards and show them in the order you just called out, 2 of clubs, ace of spades, and king of diamonds. Works best when the person you’re doing it to has had a few drinks.

The most likely scenario is the robots take over and life gets better for a very small percentage of people, the rest of the world/people will live in 3rd world conditions (or worse).
Way back when I was in high school in the 90s, a friend made a custom wad file for doom that was the exact layout of our school. Of course this was pre Columbine.
Most people get defensive when you go after their beliefs, but try going after their reasons for why they believe something, people won’t be as defensive. Some good examples of how to do this are on YouTube, look for street epistemology. I follow someone named Anthony Magnabosco most of his videos center around religious beliefs but you can apply this to just about any belief. It’s not 100% fool proof but it’s helped me tremendously when talking to people with wild beliefs.

As long as you aren’t harming others I personally don’t see a problem with weed or THC products. We use drugs to numb our pain, I don’t see how numbing our minds to emotional pain is any different or worse.
This is kinda off topic but I recently started lock picking. It’s fun and challenging, and it gives me something to fidget with. I feel like it’s less challenging than a Rubik’s cube, plus it can be useful if you lose a key. Lots of good how to videos on YouTube as well.
I’m about to be 46 and finally starting to figure out this “adulting” thing so things are going okay at the moment. My 19 year old self would probably say something like “wow I can’t believe you’re (I’m) doing good.” As long as I don’t mention the last 2 decades of fuck ups I think I’d be impressed with myself.
