I would seek an abuse shelter first. They could provide you with the things you need and take care of you. Here’s one example.
It’s not worth it where I live. (Québec, Canada)
First of all, we have a national “auto insurance” where you can’t sue someone in case of an accident. And the fees are paid through the license plate which is super expensive. And it’s even more expensive for a motorcycle due to the risks. Regular insurance is also more expensive. So in the end it’s not really worth it.
