5·8 days agoWho wants to bet he asked his AI if the mob would get him and it told him yes. And he’s dumb enough to think AI is a fortune teller.
I bet that’s exactly how it went down.

6·8 days agoI know project 2025 has plans for forcing teenage girls to have pregnancy.
Which is illogical even by their standards as babies more likely to be still born and premature from teenage mothers. And pregnant teen girls more likely to have complications resulting in death and permanent sterility.
We gotta get rid of these insane psychopaths before they destroy the planet and everything on it.

Just birth control.
When it’s a man’s choice it’s uncontested.
But a woman shouldn’t have the same autonomy.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•How to fill these seams when joining prints together?English
1·12 days agoPrint a 1 or 2 layer thick rectangle the length of the seam. Maybe 1cm wide. and glue on top. Sort of like how you use tape.

41·12 days agoI don’t see a feasible way to collect human urine with our current toilet systems.
So what’s the point of this research?
Toilet water. Sink water. Shower water. It all runs together to waste treatment centers.
Same pipes.
I do believe human excrement and food materials are filtered out and dried and used as fertilizer.
But I don’t think it’s possible to filter out urine.
Easier to collect from animal farm factories. Which, I do believe is done. (?)

2·15 days agoHow old is your printer. ?
I had near 2000 print hours and started having first layer problems. I did a lot of troubleshooting and nothing worked.
Ended up being that the heat block needed replaced. Even though it seemed to be functioning. It was causing flow errors or something.
It could also be that the screws around it get loose. That’s actually been most people’s issue but that wasn’t mine.
I replaced the heat block and it fixed it. Here is a link to the thing I’m talking about. Explains to check screws first before considering replacing the heat block.
Hopefully that’s your issue cause that’s easier to do than replacing the heat block.
A poor first layer may not be super noticeable at first. But the problem for me was it got worse over time and did result in prints lifting.

Despite what you heard from Ash, they actually choose you.
Haha okay the red light and dolls had my curiosity the most and I was pretty sure it was a pug. Nice. Never would have guessed the mini arcades
My experience in manually changing filament on my old printer. : There was often tiny gaps between color layers that ultimately made the model weak. Sometimes blobs instead.
(I would pause and change filament at a specific layer to get a multicolor print without a multicolor printer).
To solve this I would add a cylinder object to the plate so that the first place the head went after a color change was to the cylinder to get the filament back up to the right flow rate.
The pressure changes from changing filament is why the printer usually does a quick line at the start of a print. And why it’s necessary for multicolor changes.

Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Badger Badger Badger Video Officially Preserved by British Film InstituteEnglish
14·16 days agoI remember this cat video I liked.
🎶 Cat , I’m a kitty cat, and I dance dance dance. And I dance dance dance. 🎵
And I wanted to make it my ring tone. Back when phones were just starting to let you have custom tones.
And I sent the creator an email and asked if I could have a mp3. And he responded and sent it and I was like.
“Omg. This famous guy who made this video with like 100,000 views talked to me!”
I remember bragging to my friends that this famous video creator talked to me online.
Simpler times.
Now it’s 24 million views On YouTube. I’m pretty sure I messaged them on black sheep or some other video site that was popular around 2006.
Okay I get that this is cat community but I’m nosey and I can tell there is nerd stuff in the background.
But I cannot tell what the nerd stuff is.
I must know.
Please elaborate.
