Those really look like opposable thumbs.

Teslas are so bad for this, that whole “all the controls are on a big ipad” setup should be illegal.
I didn’t read too far, but,
To restrict car manufacturers and other companies from selling consumer car-related data, increase transparency regarding data practices, and for other purposes.
already skips over collecting the data, so yeah. I would guess this bill just exists for the optics, and isn’t actually intended to challenge the industry.
Oh yeah, kind of like how fans re-edited One Piece to remove filler and improve the pacing. I wonder if something similar could be done to merge the two FMAs? Unfortunately I think most of the fanbase just thinks Brotherhood is it, and the original doesn’t matter, so I don’t know think there’s much demand for this.
This is what I did, would also recommend. I don’t even think Brotherhood is better, the original has some really strong points.
Oooh I’ve been eagerly awaiting season 2 of Arcane. Hadn’t seen the release date yet. Excited now. 😸
I’ve been wanting to re-watch firefly lately. It’s short but there’s just so much in it. It’s one of two shows I’ve watched start-to-finish more than once.
And since we’re here for recommendations…the other show I’ve watched more than once is Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Based on a book by Douglas Adams (Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) it’s charming and insane in ways you might expect if you’re familiar with Hitchhiker’s Guide but it’s absolutely not predictable either. So much fun. (Available on Netflix (in Canada…last I checked))
The working class I guess? Certainly no one with power.
I can’t trust a car no matter how Japanese it is, but… I watched a lil docuseries on dangerous roads, and it seemed like at least 80% of the vehicles (outside of heavy trucks) were Toyota. I dunno if it’s because they’re the most reliable, or because Toyota just has the market in many of these developing countries, but it was interesting.
Obligatory downvote but I enjoyed the first Shapez and this one looks way cooler, I’m excited to get into it.
One time they told me I had 3 days left to enjoy YouTube with my ad blocker, and then I would have to buy premium, or they would just lock me out of the site. I was like “welp, it had a good run, I guess that’s it for ol’ YouTube.”
But then the 3 days went buy and nothing ever came of it.
That tactic probably did get them some preemptive subscriptions though, unfortunately.
Yeh, if I ever see my TV’s OS I’m like “fuck off! HDMI4!”
Oooh, trains? I am sold.
So they’re either in the “no one wants to buy” situation, with a product that doesn’t quite measure up and a lower price is the incentive to buy, or they reach parity with AMD, and bring the price up to match as well.
Maybe there is a window in between where they’re sacrificing some profit to grow their market share, and regular customers benefit, but I have 0 faith in this economic system.
I’m skeptical about how much another competitor would help…if intel can offer a comparable product, they’ll get right in on the price gouging too. Why wouldn’t they?
After getting the first Shapez free on epic, I might actually pay for this one. It looks very cool.
That’s amazing, gotta love strange cats.
