Feels like too many phones try to be something special but are afraid to fully commit as fully committing would make the phone look different than your typical phone and often with tradeoffs in other areas. When i got my phone i got it because it has a huge battery(21000mAh) that lasts about 5 days on my regular (quite heavy) use and it is fully waterproof (rated for heated pressure washing and i have tested that it can easily survive being underwater in a hot tub, i also have a habit of sometimes washing the screen with water and soap). The tradeoffs are that it’s built like a brick, weighs half a kilogram and all headphone jacks don’t fit the port because the waterproofing requires the port to be recessed.

caffeine tolerance increases very quickly, so one has to constantly increase the dose for it to be effective. I am currently trying to get a diagnosis after procrastinating for too long on that (why the hell does getting help to overcome my problems require me to overcome my problems). Not sure how caffeine exactly works in adhd brains but for me as how i understand it works in neurotypical also it should be possible to reverse the tolerance for caffeine by spending 2-5 days without any. Having gone through that i can say you need to be prepared to just lay in bed for that time.

I say calls are fine if significant dialogue is required or the matter requires immediate response, but i would preferably get a text first something like “can i call you now/at time x/whatever”. If during the call there is any exact information i need to remember(dates,numbers,addresses,etc) i would like that information after the fact so i can reference after the cat and save a lot of anxiety over wether i remembered the thing right.

Id say as someone who enjoys sleeping in the same bed (often with people who i am in a non-sexual relationship with and sometimes in a bed not designed for two people) it has kinda the same effect that cuddling with a person(sometimes it is just that) for a very long time so it just feels nice and has you rested in a completely different way. I do agree that the sleep quality often suffers a bit so i wouldn’t likely want to sleep like that every night.
