  • Volumio - Multiroom audio service. You install the os on a pi and hook up some speakers. The basic streamer is free for local files on a single device at a time. I paid $200 for a lifetime pass a few years ago. That gets you multiroom synced audio like Sonos and lets you add in streaming services.

Qobuz - Music streaming service. Much higher quality than Spotify, no shitty MQA like Tidal. They will have articles diving into a genre, band or record label with links to notable albums. It’s “station” playlists and similar artist recommendations are garbage but I’m more of an album person.

  • Worst was this girl making an uncomfortable amount of eye contact the whole time. It was like she was trying to start her way into my soul. I’d make eye contact to talk but kept having to look away because she was just too intense. I would not be surprised if she was some sort of succubus or siren trying to drain my life force.

After about an hour she asks if I have autism… I went to the bathroom and called one of my friends to vent. When I returned she asked if there was going to be a second date… There was not.

Huh I have that same controller with the 2.4ghz receiver dock and have no issues. I only use it with my htpc running bazzite. I don’t remember if I’ve played crosscode with it but I’ll check it out and report back. Every other game has been great.

Edit: 8bitdo Ultimate 2.4ghz worked just fine with Crosscode for me.

  • Free time is tight before and after shift so it’s all about preparation. Clothes are out the night before, meals are prepped before work week starts etc. It’s also important to have a short commute. I’m close and go home on lunch break for an hour to eat and walk the dog.

Some days are real busy but fly by fast. I’m super beat after those. Most I’m more “on call” and just fix problems as they come. I get to work on projects I want to in the down time, or even just chill knowing a big problem is around the corner. IDK hard to explain but it’s worth it for the time off. I think my ideal would be for 10s every week.
