If I were to lose 25% of my profits to a price hike, our business would suffer. As would all of us in the business. The stress would be real.
To those businesses that can absorb a 25% increase, and the staff are not hurt, and be OK that’s great.

We’ve all moved on to Godot.
Thank the gods for Godot, because without it, everyone would have been screwed.
The paywall in open source business apps is infuriating. I’d rather they just go full commercial.
And exclusive titles is an asshole move to force users to buy a whole platform for a single game. It’s anti competitive. It’s anti consumer. It should be illegal.
I agree. Stunning. It’s not for everyone, but, those who can appreciate the slow, beautiful, revealing beauty and enjoy taking their time, this game is as good as it gets.
Those that mash buttons to skip cutscenes, may as well give it a miss and try something else
My old server is a HP Microliant.
What I love about it, is it turns back on automatically after a power out.
I don’t know what magic is in there, but the power goes out, as it can at times, and when power is restored, the old girl just starts up again.
I’m travelling at the moment, and have it at my parents house under a desk. It’s been there over 1.5 years and haven’t had to have anyone physically touch it.
When it eventually dies, the next machine will definitely have to have that feature.
But Shay was so excited.
Excellent post. Thanks for sharing. I pretty much completely agree.
Looks interesting thank you. The last commit was 2 years ago, which concerns me. I’ll still check it out.
The Steam Deck was literally designed as a proof of concept to try and bootstrap the industry. This device is not competition, this device is exactly what Valve are hoping for, and obviously many others like it. Valve want to sell games and so therefore they want hardware manufacturers to create more devices that they can sell more games on. They also want to do it free of Microsoft’s tendrils and their control.
I read years and years ago that a study was done, that when confronted with emoji (then called emoticons), a viewer felt a stronger attachment to those with a nose :-/ than one without a nose :/
Since then, always noses for me! :-#
It’s that simple
Valve is an online store first and foremost. Apples and oranges. The rest are playing catchup, as they’ve seen gabe get rich and fat, and they want in on that.
looking forward to linux being able to run hard and solid on them
I could have sailed and sailed and sailed. Lived it. Loved it.
Never knew about the Easter egg. Nice find!
