Millennials were born in the late 80s and through the 90s. 97/8 is the rough cutoff. Most of them are in their 30s now and the oldest are in their early 40s.

This article only covers typing, but younger gen z and gen alpha are (not at all to their blame) woefully bad at understanding technology. Even using their own devices, like the iphone, outside of a few dozen common apps can be challenging. Let alone desktop OSs, servers and things like printing.
I stress that I absolutely do not say this to call them dumb or ignorant. They have not been given other resources and were not raised on other kinds of tech. And as the article points out, older generations in administration and management positions falsely equate this “app savy” intelligence to tech ability. That is where the blame lies mostly not with the young teenagers and kids.
Then don’t. Why you gotta announce it??
The reason you’re finding articles about usb “hubs” (actually usb docks) with those features is because no one feels the need to spend time writing a guide on purchasing a simple device like a hub. A dock has more choice involved, more to consider in terms of connectivity, speed and other factors.
I would just look up “usb 3 hub” on amazon or wherever. That will give you a good speed. Though if you want to keep it cheaper and you only need it for wireless peripherals, then a usb 2 hub would most likely be fine for that. Just know that if you ever plug a usb or external drive into the hub, it will be limited to 500 megabytes per second, compared to the usb 3 at 10 gigabytes per second roughly.
You know the same thing was said with Beeper’s imessage on Android pytorch success. “Apple won’t be able to change this. They’d have to change the very nature of imessage itself to block this!” And then, two days later it was blocked completely so, as much as I would hope Google couldn’t block FreeTube, don’t expect such huge successes without tempering expectation.
Thanks for this info! I really appreciate learning more.
It’s hysterical because the conservatives in the South are always saying how those pansy liberals wouldn’t know a hard day’s work if it hit them in the head. And here you have evidence that many of those states are among the worst and the rest are orange.
You don’t get it… If I don’t defend Musk and Bezos, then I have to admit I’m being fucked over. Then I have to actually deal with the reality that life is completely out of my control except for collective bargaining and class consciousness.
That takes a lot of unlearning and reformulating to do, and a lot of grace towards myself for falling for propaganda and that rails against my rugged individualism as I have been taught since childhood.
All of this takes time and effort, as well as the mentioned patience and acceptance that I am not the sole master of my own destiny. That my parents were taught a lie and lied to me, and so did their parents.
So I believe i n sunk cost fallacies and worship said billionaires.
And yet gen z despite being the queerest generation yet, gorges themselves there. Mindless consumerism
If you think that ESB was fan fiction that’s wild
Did the prequels actively try to undo one another? 8 tries to fix 7 and 9 tries to fix 8 which makes for a sloppy trilogy
soon-ish
Wasn’t it the opposite? Plagueis tried to corrupt the living force and create life but the force was so disgusted by him that it cut him out and created Anakin as the counter the tilt?
Plagueis wanted to create perfect force life but was cut off. The living force was Anakin’s other procreator.
Could be completely wrong. I saw all of this in a Sheev Talks video where I was so sure he was referencing a canon book.
Analog Nowhere!! So good
