  • Hint: It won’t ever be 100%

Any and all time I hear of this ‘game’, I can’t help but think that it is a scam. It is perhaps the most decorated and sugar-coated of scams to ever exist. Simply because they’re saying ‘yeah you can kindof play it’ and that alone, is their cover-all excuse. It wasn’t too long ago that they invested in some very expensive office and they proclaimed that they needed it to help further development or whatever bullshit reason they stated it was for.

But yeah they can just do whatever they want and fools will still throw down their money, even though they probably will almost never know where all of it will go to. I won’t be surprised if some of the money is making one guy rich. I wouldn’t be surprised if the money is used to funnel some political campaign. Something. We won’t ever know, but because this project is technically playable, they just throw up their arms being like “what? it’s still developing! we just need more time and money!”.

It is projects like Star Citizen, that has made me have an extremely soured perspective with early access projects. One other game that came to mind was 7 Days to Die, I remember getting that through Humble Monthly. At that time, the game was like 5 years in development and was still in the alpha stages.

It went through numerous changes, both unnecessary and unneeded while progressing. But the years kept piling up. I think it is now fully released but it still doesn’t look 100%. It just lacked what direction it really wanted to go and even then I thought that project was grifting people who bothered supporting it.

  • Excuse you? What I said did not speak of anything of what my beliefs are. You are just assuming in a baseless manner. That is in of itself, a huge problem with society today so thanks for being a demonstration of that problem.

Obviously not all problems black people face are from white people

So you went on this entire tirade of rambling and you say that snippet. How about you project some sources that example that little detail, instead of virtue-signaling the way that you have?

I bet you won’t. You’ll just take all of the virtuous self-patting upvotes of your little rant like you have, and provide me nothing in return, just petty downvotes. That’s exactly how I expect you to behave.

  • I am going to be controversially unpopular by saying that just simply going to saudi arabia to do a show is nothing. There are still people there who live under a tyrannical regime that they can do little about, who is to say that they don’t deserve some entertainment? Because it would be blanket generalizing to say that everyone in Saudi Arabia is a-okay with what their government does or whatever the prince does. Granted, you can say 90% of the people there approve of whatever the Saudi Prince does, but there’s still that 10% that don’t for him.

Besides, these are a bunch of comedians, not politicians. Political matters in regards to human rights should be handled by politicians who right now, aren’t doing a stellar job except shit out statistics about how bad it is. What can anyone else do? If anyone else outside of a politician or an official’s scope of handling does shit, then that’s grounds to start yet another war, which we don’t need another of considering everything going on right now.

So, you know, you feel whatever you feel. I hate the WWE for doing business with the Saudis which is different than a few comedians just going there to do an event.

  • But I don’t see someone like Louis capable of doing that. If he’s about as upfront as he is in his stand-up, I can’t see him swinging his influence around like that.

He actually said he wielded power irresponsibly. In actuality, I think he handled it as well as one could in his situation. He at least asked. Though he could’ve also asked if he could excuse himself or they could excuse themselves so he can have privacy, something. It could’ve totally flipped over on its head if he just went and did it in a way like “ah fuck these women around me, I wanna jerk off”.

There were far more worse offenders that MeToo brought out than him in comparison.

  • Absolutely disgraceful that they exist. They prey on people’s desperation to not be lonely and through that, people will pay anything to not be lonely anymore.

I’ve been on a couple of them and they do this Facebook-like trick, where they stuff your inbox full of notifications that people are suddenly wanting to contact you. But in order to access your inbox, you have to pay to see what’s there. What are the odds that after just registering, making your profile and everything that it is just bots or nothing in that inbox?

    Just bullshit and predatory.

Facebook’s Dating app, while free and everything, they limit your character limit. So you have to dumb down your profile and you’ll maybe get one person or two in spacious periods of time. But even then you’re spending a lot of time just swiping past people who are restricted to the same thing and you don’t learn a lot about them.
