  • If you want to take that position seriously, it’s outlined well in rancieres “the distribution of the sensible”.

Politics can only happens around what we are able to experience, and what we can experience is predicated upon what and how we are able to sense, which makes all art inherently political, as a piece of art always imparts and improve upon the senses of the subject interarcting with it. You have an experience, you grow. Your distribution of what is sensible has shifted.

To take it down a notch and relate it back to the current image, what do you think a Nazi would say, if you showed them this image and presented it as art? Good chance they’d see it as an prime candidate for the untartete kunst exhibition. It’s not realistic, uses pop-culture symbolism and even, dare i say it, contains such unholy additions as vulgar everyday language, not poetry 😱

P clear then, that even the seemingly most innocent of images contain an infinite amount of assumptions around much broarder topics, fx, what is beautiful, what is allowed to be expressed, and those are very much political conversations

Thx for coming to my Ted talk

  • Theres probably a bunch more reasons than just transportion culture wars that the us is turning fascist, i would imagine, but yeah that was what i was getting at. Very aware that many places in America only are build for cars.

Which is a damn shame. You shouldnt have yo be forced like that. But u know, money and power, big Industry lobbyism and decades of fearmongering about market regulations and public services, thatl get you a situation like that.

Wasnt trying to be snarky or anything fyi, clarifying because im quite over thinking too much about tone, downside being people sormtime misunderstand my vibes. ✌️

  • Tulpas are created through rituals. If you are a plural person (assuming that means what some call multiple personality disorder), they arent necessarily created through intention, thus Im not referring to plural people at all.

Additionally, the use of ‘psychosis’ is not clinical, its everyday language slang. Im not actually calling people psychotic, id be calling myself that, as i do practice ritual magick every once in a while

Those two things are not the same at all, what a nonsense comparison. By that logic any good idea originating from the faroese islands is void. What is all ideas from america automatically voided by all the horrors going on there?

“Don’t emulate this idea… Why? Well because the people doing it also has non related bad ideas 😎”

  • “Be a man, put on that thong. What, a big strong man like you afraid of frilly fabrics? It’s just cotton man, it can’t hurt you. Aww big man afraid of a piece of fabric so sad :'(”

It’s fun, you should do it, I’ve had many interesting interactions when going that route. Most laugh, a few get visibly confused and upset, and bro that’s the greatest part. Its a great litmus test of how comfortable a dude is in their masculinity.

  • Idk i generally agree but the joke here isn’t really rape but more the subversion of expectations, the joke couldve easily been ‘yeah i learned last week the magpie steals shit’ cut to panel of their keys getting stolen, instead of them learning it through a book. The rape part is of course to heighten the shock value, and is thus more of a prop than the actual joke imo. So it’s not like the underlying message is ‘rape is funny right guys?’, but i definitely also see the objectionable part of using such serious topics like rape as a comedic prop

Also sidenote, this is cyanide and happiness, that’s kinda their whole thing
