    I wonder how this worked out for them, specifically, in the end. The wife/mother has a very longsuffering look on her face.

      Probably fine. I think a lot about how Bayer, which literally made the gas for the chambers, is still around and apparently doing well. And while Germany was war ravaged, it wasn’t to a much greater extent than the rest of Europe.

          Germany lost an entire generation of males during WWII. They didn’t run out of war machines, they ran out of soldiers.
