That was a wild read. It seems that there is a troll abusing the legal system, but it is unclear to what goal.
One minor observation: using metadata as evidence is little more than handwaving: anyone with a modicum of knowledge (or an app that can do it) can edit metadata in a file.
Yeah, I can get you a copy of Steamboat Willie that says it’s from 1861 if you want.
Simple solution: require the plaintiff to show up in court, with copies of their movies.
