We adopted this 13 year old Chihuahua after years of abuse at the hands of his owner. We’ve had him for a couple of years now and he’s now very happy, he loves to cuddle with me, he plays with the cat and even will let strangers pet him briefly.

He’s adorable, but please get his claws trimmed if he’ll tolerate it. They look uncomfortably long.
Good eye! We are doing that tomorrow. It really stresses him out so we try to go as long as possible between them. Thankfully we’ve found the least stressful way is to bundle him up and suspend him with his feet exposed, then give him treats and loves afterwards.
