5·2 days agoYeah, that is a bit of a silver lining to this cloud.
It’s bleak to me because when denied the artificial highs of buying crap, they just switched to fake ones to get the fix. Instead of them doing something else that might make them happy in a more real healthy way.
Like breaking an addiction of a real thing, just to replace it with an artificial one.

31·9 days agoProbably because you’ll just get tired of it. After the initial whiz bang faded, the HUGE beautifully rendered world was not enough to carry the absolutely dogshit story, repetitive unvaried encounters, and overwhelming plethora of shallow, poorly explained systems.



I worked at Electronics Boutique when it was released. We sold hundreds of copies. We also had a LOT of people returning it the next day because it was the first time they had ever encountered a JRPG, or turn based combat.
