Gen 2 has actually kind of started to grow on me with the Pokemon. I think a part of it is the Sprite Work of Soul Silver, but I’ve been hunting Pokemon all day and I’ve grown soft in it. Gen 3 & 4 definitely still hold themselves as my favorites I think though

So many maps and game modes go well together. It’s one of my favorites in the collection

I didn’t really grow up with it until like 2017 With Halo CE Custom Edition for PvP. I’m so fucking glad I did though. It’s become some of the most online fun I’ve had with friends.

I like infinite but my main gripe is its storage space requirement. Halo MCC already takes up like 140. It’s hard to justify almost another 100 GB when I already have like 5 Halo Games to play

I saw the 16 Player Co-Op! I was going to set it up but saw it needed Halo 3 on the MCC and half my friends are console-locked for Halo. I’d buy them a copy of MCC on Steam but it seems like they stopped putting it on sale so it’s like 40$

I started the trend way back in highschool when I very first attempted my first Soul Silver run. Ever since my starter in Soul Silver has been Tod Howard. For a while I was naming everything in the format of _od Howard. It wasn’t for any particular reason. I suppose I just thought it was funny when I started.

It still gets a bit of a laugh out of me though when I load up a order save for something and see Tod staring back at me

Man. I always forget about Crysytal. I wish we had gotten a port of it to the DS. I always hated that they stopped doing the “All in one” releases, I wish we got them back.

Fair enough. I completely get why Gen 1 or 2 are one of the most popular picks for “Best Pokemon Game”. Their designs are just not my thing I think though lol

RetroArch had an in built option to bind the screenshot function to a button which is how I’ve been doing it. I bound it to the right shoulder.

I’d look into a mobile emulator if it wasn’t for the DS I’m setting up, plus I try to keep games off my phone. I find it’s very easy for me to get distracted that way lol

I’m glad I could be of help! Depression is kind of an ass and hits hard, so I know that feeling. There’s been a couple of times it made it hard for me to pick up the controller and actually play something.

It’s reassuring though to know that me doing this has been helping others, even if in a small way.

How are the GBA Games? I got into the franchise because I really loved the 3DS Titles. I’ve never gone back to the older ones though. Are they the kind of thing a fan of the newer games would like?

I’ve been loving Fortune’s Weave lately. The soundtrack is really good, and having come from 3H, the presentation is gorgeous

I was going to do it today but couldn’t find my charger. It sucks because I was really looking forward to trying it on native hardware

Damn. Twilight Princess 3D sounds genuinely amazing. Ocarina of Time DS sounds fascinating too, though it feels a little less impressive compared to the other. Still really amazing though

I should have hooked it up to my actual 3DS instead of an emulator. See what the performance is like on there

Off the top of my head? Alan Wake 2, Max Payne 2, Silent Hill2, Mario Kart 64, and Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Some of them are nostalgia, some of them come from a genuine love and appreciation for the game
