When I have seen the numbers, it always surprised me how varied the patterns are in reality. We tend to think in tribalistic terms. Like all other users follow a similar pattern as self, but that tends to be very wrong. The majority of users are usually not the daily routine type but the once or twice a week, and once or twice a month types.

Intuitively, if you notice the way post responses tend to be somewhat random and unpredictable in terms of voting and replies, this viewership pattern covers that probability. Watch places like reddit in the good times of the past when a repost is made at a time of day that should encompass a fresh audience. The initial momentum from vote responses is often very different. It results in entirely different trajectories overall. Could be other factors there. I have seen similar here, but at much smaller differentials.

Thing is, business is hard. You may not realize how often the business is on the brink of failure. That can be super stressful. Things often look different from an outsider’s perspective that does not interact with the books. Cash flow is the super critical factor. Employees are the biggest expense that is very difficult to deal with. In many cases, there is no connection between each employee and revenue. So it is hard to separate perception of the burden from the person as a human. People management sucks for this reason. It is best to run the books and back office separate from people managers. Thing is, the type of person you want managing the back office is likely terrible at people management.

I am this kind of asshole. I do not manage people unless I have to. I do care, a whole lot in fact, on the logical empathy side. I am just not very in tune with other people’s emotions in the moment. If I have a ton on my plate, I will skip what I am able to. I’m not actually trying to justify being a jerk. It is not an excuse. I am often just unaware and focused on other things. I do not take “me” to work. I do the job for which I am paid. It sucks, but it is not personal to me unless someone fucks with my pay.

Not trying to make excuses or call you out. I am just saying, it might not be as you imagined. Sounds like they do not value you as much as you would like. If you are able to find better, go for it. I would not walk into the void over it without a replacement.

The only use case I see for helping with STL files at this point, is if the path to quads is made easier. As others have said, STEP is far better because it retains π. What if there was a reply field silently posted to everyone’s notifications feed indicating anonymous instances of the tool being used to fill in the gaps for alt text? The message would need to be opt out or carefully presented. Perhaps it could be possible to modify the post itself via the tool? Better yet, make the alt text field a Wikipedia style affair anyone with an account can edit, but with a lock available to the OP. That would create much more healthy awareness of the need for alt text, as people posting the content will see the places where gaps are filled by an automated tool. It gives them the chance to edit. This does little to initially improve the experience of the most active alt text users, but it creates a strong cultural shift in awareness that should improve the situation greatly in the long term IMO.

I find there is more nuance in the camera, framing, and perspective view. Some focus on male gratification, possession, and penetration. I find that uninteresting. There are far fewer that focus on the nuances of female sexual experiences. Then there are far fewer still that understand and capture the art of human form. Like I roll my eyes any time I see a woman with her legs up and back. Even most skinny rectangle body type women have wide hips that are unflattering in the position. I most appreciate when someone frames shots that speak to the subtle psychology of the human form. There is a very real and secret magic hidden in the human form and viewer’s mind. Certain perspectives conjure emotions and behaviors outside of one’s awareness. What is it exactly that seeing is motivating? Why those shapes? What is it about that mixture of the symmetrical and asymmetrical parts that conjures a primal response. What triggers imagination and wanton lust? What did they intend to focus attention upon, why, would you? What other aspects of self awareness are present? What are their motivations? Where are they? Who is paying for this shoot, why? Is a camera here to avoid issues with some rich prick trafficking? Is this a thinly veiled cuck to the world from the rich? Am I watching nothing more than the bottom of some dude’s junk? Who let hamburger meat hair legs in front of a lens? Has she ever seen herself in a mirror like this? How smart is she likely to be based on traits of self awareness and implied complexity?

That is some of what I am thinking about. I’m just curious in lots of spaces. Recently I have been modeling mesh forms in CAD. So I’m in that artist’s mindset. Mostly thinking about shapes and places that motivate touch on a level outside of typical human awareness.
