Revanced patches will go BRRRRR on these
Warn about how plastic (especially single-use) is a major pollutant, with microplastics managing to get into our organs with long term consequences we are yet to grasp.
It did push our technology and way of living forward, but at what cost?
The title really looks spammy… just saying.
As long as you are the legal owner of the code, I don’t see why you couldn’t.
For example, DAVx⁵ (F-Droid, Google Play)
I’d see it as a tradeoff between the convenience of silent updates of Google Play and incentivizing people to go for F-Droid.
I buy thick reusable and washable ziploc-like bags like these instead.
I still have a couple of disposable ones in case I need to give it to someone and don’t expect to get it back.
Not requiring an email is going to increase the moderation workload on the admins since it will become a prime target for spammers and trolls, and if not adequately moderated the instance might get defederated from the major instances.
Just like you how end up in the longest wait line or in a traffic jam: because you don’t notice it otherwise.
Also, connecting an access point that doesn’t broadcast its SSID has another side effect: all devices configured to connected to it will periodically broadcast a signal to search for that hidden AP instead, so it makes you even easier to track down anywhere else.
Most commercial networks systems have the ability to detect rogue access points by analysing the radio spectrum, and hiding the SSID will not avoid detection once traffic starts flowing to it.
And they can triangulate the position of the rogue AP.
VitePress might be what you’re looking for.
Flip a couple of tables where this decision was made at the very least.
Gotta remain positive and see the glass half full, or January 2nd depending on the cell format.
Ridiculous physics is always fun.
Votes aren’t private on the fediverse, it’s just a that some interfaces won’t display them. Also, instance admins can see who voted too.
But like @Boozilla@lemmy.world said
Don’t bother yourself over it. That way lies madness.
It mainly useful for admins to detect if there is some vote manipulation going on.
Plus there’s the issue of overhead. An email might be simple, but look at the raw message and there’s a lot of stuff being sent for each email.
The extra A comes from the MBAs adding their grain of salt that no one wants.
