As someone who has to keep all our devices updated in a ten day window, while I appreciate Apple pushing security updates, this recent run of an update every three weeks has been….stressful

We’re using Jamf and it makes it at least tolerable. Make sure to get Apple Business Manager going so you can load devices in as Supervised, otherwise you lose the little forced update controls you have. But yeah when Intune looks like the reasonable solution it’s all bad.

Oh haha no this is hundreds of iPads across a number of locations, and a lot more harassing folks than I’d like to get their devices turned on so they can update and meet our audit requirements.

You would think if I’ve had to contact your department the last three updates in a row to get it done, and the only check ins I see for months are during the updates, maaaaybe your team doesn’t actually need these devices, Brad, but no their VP just has to have them.

In a perfectly timed release, I just got the last iPad in our fleet onto 26.2.1 this morning so of course 26.3 dropped 30 minutes later.

Are they an issue if they’re not the ones that have inward facing teeth? My wife used those with her dogs growing up but that was a line in the sand for me and we normal collar + harness for our huge dog, but not sure on the normal slip collars.

Huge +1 for dish soap. I was having issues with small lettering about the same size as your test sticking. Washed my plate with Dawn and it was a night and day difference.

So I didn’t click through and just searched Apple Music for Saint Tropez, and apparently there’s a group with the same name that’s some pretty chill kind of lo-fi French stuff before lo-fi was a thing?
