Fucking rat.
in one, posted in December 2025, police enter the room and tell him, “You’re getting swatted again.”
Here’s an idea, how about fucking don’t then
I’m generally not one for over-punishing, but I feel like swatting should be heavily punished, like ten years on a roadside chain-gang punished. These little shits should have to give away a chunk of their freedom for trying to kill someone in this way.
They should get the same punishment as someone would for attempted murder. Because essentially that’s what they’re doing.
Fair point.
10 years for attempted premeditated murder? Let’s rethink those numbers?

28-year-old Andrew Finch of Wichita, Kansas, was killed last night by police in what appears to have been an incident of “swatting.” Deputy police chief Troy Livingston told the Wichita Eagle that police were responding to a report of a murder and hostage situation at Finch’s home when he came to the front door and was shot.
USA… when showing up at your door can make you killed by the police…
“This stupid bastard is accused of killing people and taking hostages, and then he just answers the door unarmed and confused? Take him down, boys!”
Imagine if the hostage was escaping and they just shot them.
Frankly it’s everyone’s fault for even living in the United States.
Reminds me of South Park: “It’s comin’ right for us!”
There’s another old South Park where the adults are wasted at a meteor watching party. The cops show up because they think it’s a suicide cult and start shooting people leaving the party.
Land of the degenerates.
Mayyyyybe the problem is that there even is swatting. As in, why is there such a violent institution. Have you guys over there considered that?
I truly wonder if they realise that in otger counties, you are not one phone call away from being swatted by the gestapo for no reason. The price of freedom i guess.

I could go on. Seems more like your experiences and knowledge are extremely limited.
How many have died from swatting outside of the US? None of the linked examples seems to involve armed police just running wild shooting anything that moves as in those US examples.
I read a few of those an people didn:t seem to have been killed, am i misunderstanding something? Maybe i was using swatting the wrong way, i kind of connected it to where violence was used as a result of a blind report.
One of the problems is related to no knock warrants. Depending on what neighborhood you live in, unless that person says they are the police and look like the police, they are considered a home invader and are going to get themselves killed. Considering that American police have better equipment that poor country’s military’s and they will shoot anything they consider a threat. Innocent people are going to be murdered by police.
I understood it as swatting in general if somebody made a false accusation and the police raided somebody. Doesnt need to be physical harm involved.
Police knocks on the door and ask if everything is alright? -> not (successful) swatting
Police breaks down your door and stands in your living room but then leaves after realising you are not a bloodthirsty kidnapper -> swatting
Police kills an innocent due to swatting -> swatting in USA
Fair enough, i think contextually my argument should be clear though.
