Looks like the poster of that is a lemmy.ml account. I don’t know for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if fedia.io, where I am, doesn’t federate with them and doesn’t show posts from accounts over there.
So while it’s a repost given this new evidence, it wasn’t a repost for me, and maybe OP didn’t see it on their instance either.
Quite possible. This com is on .world, so I as a mod have to abide by .world federation, though it does seem like this post would have gained more traction, alot of people have .ml blocked personally so its bound to cause issues like this. :(
