Thank you, I’m by your side!

Thank you, I’m by your side!

Thank you!
regarding the image problem… Hmm, I sometimes have image problems when they are hosted on Anubis protected sites (nudge nudge @quokka@quokk.au), but haven’t seen that issue with lemmy.blahaj.zone yet. Does it work if you read the post in a webui? https://phtn.lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/lemmy.blahaj.zone/41017283
Alternatively, here’s a link to an imgur album of the pics

I’m glad to hear of your success! What specifically is stopping you from visiting that “nearby” support group? Is it time, money or spawnpoint?

I haven’t tried it, but NTH on the SmartTube telegram chat recommended https://github.com/webosbrew/youtube-webos

Well that sounds like a potential side if worry, but also like an opportunity for your bond to grow. Wish you both the best!

Thanks for sharing, erin!
Context for others: “это дядя” would mean “(that) is uncle”.
I once lines to an androgyn character in a book and asked my daughter (maybe 5 or 6yo at that time), she said “they wear a dress, so they must be a girl. Boys don’t wear dresses!” But she was open minded when I pointed out her prejudice.

Glad you for an appointment! I’m looking forward to the update. The nervousness is half the fun, isn’t it?

What [happened] to the hair dye? 😆 Lovely photo~

‘I already have a cheerleader, it’s my wife’ and I said ‘that’s okay, you can have two.’
I first thought you meant two wives 😅
I love that feeling when stuff like this happens. Though sometimes these jokingly-gay comments makes me nervous.
How did the sorting through your feelings go?

the post already links to a summary, but tl;dr
the state seeks to charge Meta for supporting grooming of minors, because adding chat encryption obstructed law enforcement. Criminalizing the design decision to add encryption might deter all companies.
Some of the most damaging evidence in both trials came from internal company documents where employees raised concerns about safety risks and discussed tradeoffs. […] the rational corporate response is to stop putting anything in writing. Stop doing risk assessments. Stop asking hard questions internally. […] That makes everyone less safe.

That’s pretty wild 😉

I’ve been a little but on reddit, but I’m not sure if I ever even wrote a comment. I was very much an introvert lurker, but I’m trying to overcome it (starting here).
Nice photo! I’m currently also trying to get my hair that long for the first time.

Hi is! As I wasnt around at the time of your previous introduction post, I’ll just say hi, nice to meet you 👋

I’ve found some tutorials on YouTube by Alexis Blake; she doesn’t go into too much detail, but I liked them as a start. Maybe I’ll convince someone IRL to give me some tips and feedback, once I feel comfortable asking.

My week’s been fantastic, thanks for asking! I’ve put on eye liner and mascara for the first time and… wow! I can’t believe how long I’ve been childishly bouncing around and gigging after seeing myself with this (rather minor) change. 💖

At work I use kubernetes and quite like that (upgrading containers without downtime FTE), but I didn’t bother trying to set up the infrastructure myself. Some argue, it’s not with the efford for self hosting, I dunno.
What I do like to use is Dockge, to keep docker but also keep your sanity. It even offers a single button for “docker compose pull”, which is great of you don’t have to many compose files / stacks. Combine with a simple shell script to batch pull/build all stacks in one go, plus some backup solution, and it’s actually nice to use and does all that I need. I love CLIs, but I’ve had situations where the GUI came in very handy.
#! /bin/bash
# note: this will update and START all dockge stacks, even if you stopped them before
shopt -s nullglob
for proj in /opt/dockge /opt/stacks/*/; do
echo "> $proj"
docker compose -f "$proj/compose.yaml" up --pull always --build --detach
echo ""
done
Gotta copy that, thank you!

Thank you for your follow up! It’s so cheerful 🥰
That’s also my primary association, though my memory of Owl House is foggy. But honestly I chose this nickname because
spoiler
when I mentioned that my blue hair unintentionally turned out slightly purple, a coworker accurately pointed out it’s literally azure.
