trying to maintain a nicer, more fun feed than i ever really got anywhere else, whats your favourite non political communities on here and why?
For those who are viewing a community and it looks empty, that means you’re the first person from your instance to have ever visited that community.
If you decide to subscribe to it, you and everyone else from your instance will start seeing new posts that gets posted after you subscribed.
By far !science_memes@mander.xyz
God bless that fossil person for keeping that place alive.
I can’t explain it too well, but !historyartifacts@piefed.social is the kind of a comm I use for treating depression. I can just sit down and browse it and go “Ooo, interesting and neat stuff”.

Shameless self-promotion for !radiolemmy@lemmy.blahaj.zone
A radio station for Lemmy users, by Lemmy users (and eventually the greater Fediverse).
Coming soon!
Currently accepting song submissions and applications for DJs/presenters/podcasters. Website is currently down so please PM me for more info.

I didn’t see any post there? Is it just on my end ?

Try viewing it locally. It does appear empty from your instance.
This has happened to me when on a small instance from which no one has viewed a community before. Once the insurance has loaded the community at least once, stuff should appear.
The poetry community!

Basically a Calvin and hobbes shitpost comm
weed - memes - etc
!weedtime@crazypeople.onlinemusic
!eternalplaylist@crazypeople.onlinepokemon mobile game
!pokemonTCGM@crazypeople.onlineI kinda like !woodworking@lemmy.ca
Music based communities
Online comic strip artists
Meme based
I personally enjoy the Curated Tumblr comm as well as Microblog Memes. Usually worth a laugh or a pique of my interest.
(Sorry I don’t know how to link communities, esp on mobile)
I started !webgames@lemmy.zip to replace the reddit sub but I only posted a few things there. I like more dedicated games in general but sometimes browser games are a brief fun distraction (although there are definitely extensive ones as well).
!theasiandiaspora@piefed.social My home away from home - Currenly only have like… 3 (?) users actually part of the diaspora but like a bunch of… I guess sort of guests? (Okay slightly political, but only when relevent)
!ocpoetry@piefed.social & !originalpoetry@literature.cafe - Original Poetry - I mean I don’t think political poems are banned, but if it does get political, at least its poetic.
!casualconversation@lemmy.world
!chinese@lemmy.world - Language stuff, should be apolitical
!technology@lemmy.world - I mean politics is kinda intertwined… so just slightly political
!showerthoughts@lemmy.world - Sometimes political, sometimes apolitical
!youtubeclassics@sh.itjust.works is a good throwback to the best of an bygone internet.
