    Not lettuce, but I’ve eaten cabbage that’s been in the drawer so long I’d forgotten when I bought it. The age to use progession goes topping > salad > blanched > soup > stir fry > compost.

    You need some lettuce on your burger.

    Not enough to make it healthy, but the crunch.

    Also some tomato, some spicy guacamole, and cheddar.

          It’s common in Estonia too but in the slop burgers usually. The ones with like coleslaw or some shit drowning out the shitty patty that has zero beef content, you’ll be happy if it has pork.

          I don’t think anyone on your continent would call it a burger even lol

    I live alone and sometimes stuff like this isn’t worth it. Go out and get a salad that’s already made. It will be less wasteful this way.

    I only bother with stuff I can freeze. Like, I buy carrots and celery, blanch them, freeze them, and use them when needed in soups or rice.
