Hellu and welcome! How is trans care in Greece and do you get your stuff through the general healthcare or do you jump through a bunch of hops? Also do you have some extra?- I am still not on mine and have to wait forever and a day more before I can get any.

Anyhow, what is your favourite coffee or way of enjoying it?

So Public health care is horrible here (euxaristo adonh) soo people here go private or diy. I am lucky that I can go to a farmacy and get what I need without question or any papers.

1st if you want to get the diagnosis you go to a psychiatrist that only a few will be supportive of you. 2nd if you are AMAB, you have to go to the military but having the dysforia diagnosis will except you from there.

3rd name change will cost ya up to 1000 euros and will take years until it happens

4th surgery. The do them but truly I don’t know how the paperwork is done

Honestly with how easy I can get hrt, might as well sell them :3

I hope you can start one day, if you are in the eu, they told me that you can make an appointment with a Spanish doctor and they can give you hrt. One girl I know is doing exactly that.

Thanks for the info and I am so happy for you that you are able to get the stuff! It sounds quite exhausting in Greece.

Ooo I need more info on that Spanish doctor ^^ in essence if I can get the HRT started officially somewhere within the EU and get the Gender incongurence diagnosis based on the ICD 11 I can forcey healthcare provider to take over.

Because it takes 3-5 years of waiting in a queue in Sweden to get the diagnosis and all care is locked behind it. If I get it elsewhere I can bypass that damned queue and move on as long as it’s an official doctors diagnosis and they started HRT with me.

Yeah tough luck I don’t know why northern country has such long queues, it’s best you ask about it because personally I don’t know. But you can try with a good LGBT friendly Greek psychologyst to ask if it’s possible. Due to gatekeeping I won’t mention it here
